Cher turns back time in tour outfit

Cher has turned back time on her latest tour, by recreating her famous look from 25 years ago.

The 67-year-old singer slipped back into a sparkly see-through body stocking and embellished leather jacket she wore in the music video for her 1989 hit, If I Could Turn Back Time, as she opened her farewell tour in Phoenix, Arizona.

After her first three songs, Cher admitted some of her costumes didn't fit right on her aptly titled Dressed To Kill tour, that she couldn't remember the words to two of her songs, and that she broke the nail on her middle finger, reported Billboard.

"Tonight you're going to see the show warts and all - but it'll be the first," she said.

Cher kept fans happy as she sang her way through well-known songs such as Believe, Heart Of Stone, The Shoop Shoop Song and Gypsies, Tramps And Thieves. Despite parting ways after 43 years with costume designer Bob Mackie, she impressed the crowds with a plethora of different costumes including a gladiator-style outfit for Take It Like A Man and a flamboyant Native American headdress for Half Breed.

She poked fun at her body insecurities, saying: "I know it's cool to have a big ol' a** booty. [Mine is] not that bad for my age. Kim Kardashian probably has a photo album of her a**."

Cher was briefly reunited with her late husband Sonny Bono on their duet, I Got You Babe, when he appeared on a giant video screen.

The singer insisted the tour would be her last live dates on the road, saying: "I swear to God, this is my farewell, farewell tour. I'll be my mother if I do another concert."
