Timberlake, Jackson share screen

Justin Timberlake has been given an opportunity to dance alongside Michael Jackson in a new music video.

The video to the remixed single, Love Never Felt So Good, is a homage to the late king of pop, featuring clips from his past music videos and dancers imitating his dance moves.

Justin, who co-directed the four-minute-long footage, also shows off his own skills alongside the other movers in the video.

The song, written and recorded by Michael and Paul Anka in 1983 when they recorded This Is It, is one of the tracks on Xscape, an album of previously unheard tracks from Michael's archive "contemporised" by rapper Timbaland, who was the album's executive producer.

"He inserted himself just enough in Love Never Felt So Good, and just added to what Michael was doing," Timbaland told MTV News about Justin's involvement.

"He didn't really do too much. When he came in, it made him look special, but it didn't make him look overwhelming. It was just enough."

The 42-year-old hitmaker added: "He just felt like it was an honour for him, because I don't know if he ever really, really got to work with him like that. But he talked to Michael a lot. So, it was really something I guess he wanted to do."

Xscape, the second posthumous album from Michael since his death in 2009, is out now.
