Perrie Edwards in pain after arm burn

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards is nursing a painful injury after accidentally setting her arm ablaze.

The pop star took to Twitter.com on Thursday (25Feb16) to reveal photos of her badly blistered right hand, after a frightening incident with her stove.

"So today I had an accident," she wrote, "and by accident I mean i accidentally set myself on fire. The pilot light on my boiler blew up and it set my arm/hand on fire. Not a pleasant experience."

Edwards added, "I'm in pain, full of blisters, there's not one hair left on my hand. or arm, and it burned the sleeve of my favourite jumper f**king nightmare. A little advice from me... STAY AWAY FROM FIRE! #StaySafeKids"

The scary incident came one day after Perrie and her bandmates made their BRIT Awards stage debut when they performed their hit Black Magic.

While the girl group gave a rousing performance, they left the ceremony empty-handed after missing out on the British Single of the Year and British Video of the Year trophies. The latter award was won by her ex-fiance Zayn Malik's former band One Direction.

Following the ceremony and London's O2 Arena, Edwards proved there was no bad blood between her and members of her ex-lover's old bandmates by leaving the post-awards Universal Music party with Louis Tomlinson and Little Mix pal Leigh-Ann Pinnock.

The trio was spotted squeezing into the back of a taxi.

Edwards previously gushed about how much fun she has when hitting the town with her Little Mix bandmates.

“We have a bit of banter with guys in nightclubs... I love it," she told UK newspaper The Mirror. “I love going out. (Little Mix group member) Jade (Thirlwall) can be a bad influence, but she always looks after me and makes sure I don’t get too drunk.

"The other night she was filling my glass with water.”
