Craig David and Olly Murs to perform at BRITs nominations launch

Craig David, Olly Murs and Christine and the Queens are to perform at the 2017 BRIT Awards with MasterCard nominations launch.

For the first time this year, the nominations will be announced on live TV on ITV on Saturday January 14, 2017 and will be hosted by Emma Willis.

'You Don't Know Love' hitmaker Olly, who recently said he'd love to win a BRIT, said:

"I'm excited to announce I'll be playing at the BRITs 2017 nominations launch. Make sure you tune in to ITV on Saturday January 14th! I always love playing live and this will be a great warm up for my 24HRS tour next year."

And Craig, who's comeback album 'Following My Intuition' shot straight to number one, said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be involved with The BRITs this year which always showcases the best of British and International music and highlights how important our industry is on a global scale."

Celebrity Big Brother' presenter Emma is thrilled to have been invited as she always tunes into the prestigious awards bash.

She said: I've always been a massive fan of The BRIT Awards, it's one of the most fun nights of the year. I watch it religiously so I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the team and to reveal all the nominations for 2017."

Jason Illey, the BRITs Chairman, commented: "Both Olly and Craig have had a brilliant year and both enjoyed number one albums. Christine and the Queens are one of the biggest success stories of the year. They are all fantastic performers and we are looking forward to them being an important part of the BRIT nominations event on the 14th January. Add to this Emma Willis as host and we have the perfect ingredients for a brilliant 2017 launch show."

The BRIT Awards 2017 take place on Wednesday February 22 at London's The O2, hosted by Canadian superstar Michael Bublé.
