Stevie Nicks teases first new album in 14 years

Stevie Nicks has revealed she is working on a new album - her first in 14 years.

The Fleetwood Mac singer shared the news in an acceptance speech as she was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

She revealed she is "actually making a record right now", adding: "I call it the ghost record because it just kind of happened in the last couple of weeks.

"I have seven songs and they are autobiographical, real stories where I'm not pulling any punches for probably the first time in my life," she continued.

"They're not airy-fairy songs that you're wondering who they're about, but you really don't get it. They are real stories, memories of mine, of fantastic men."

She also revealed that the album was written in the aftermath of her being evacuated from her Los Angeles home during the recent wildfires.

Nicks recently unveiled the dates for her 2025 North American tour, which she will kick off in August in Boston.

She is also due to play some joint US shows with Billy Joel later this year.

In other news, Fleetwood Mac has announced a "fully authorised" and "definitive" documentary, to be released at an unannounced future date on Apple TV+.
