Kevin Jonas sees therapist to cope with 'highs and lows' of fame

Kevin Jonas has revealed that he sees a therapist to cope with the "highs and lows" of fame.

The Jonas Brothers star has candidly revealed that he regularly experiences depression after going on tour.

"All the depression, blues, it's real, especially after a tour," Kevin told People in a new interview. "After our last tour, we did over 100 and something shows - it was too many - and we ended in Europe."

In October 2024, the Jonas Brothers - comprising Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas - concluded their seventh world tour, titled THE TOUR, in Krakow, Poland.

"I got on my plane to come home after I believe 130 shows, and I got on my flight - which was delayed terribly, which is never fun." he explained. "So it literally took me like an extra 18 hours to get home, and I was already fatigued and burnt out by the time I got home."

"My wife (Danielle Jonas) was like 'Something's wrong with you, are you okay?'" the pop star continued. "I actually had to go start talking to a therapist about it, how to process the highs and the lows. It's so jarring."

Kevin then revealed that Nick, who is currently starring in the Broadway musical The Last Five Years, is also experiencing the emotional toll of performing in such an intense show.

"(Nick's) really has to live in this and I think he takes it home with him too, which is really hard if you know the show. It's emotional," the 37-year-old said, adding that performing on the Broadway stage isn't something he can see in his own future.

"Well, (Nick) leaves this theater - I think every single night - in a way, like, depressed and coming off of this emotional roller coaster," he continued. "So, it's a lot to bear, and it's hard to take that with you."

The Jonas Brothers are set to kick off their upcoming concert tour, the Jonas20: Living the Dream Tour, on 10 August.
