NewsJune, 13 Hilary Duff celebrates 10th anniversary of 'authentic' album Breathe In. Breathe Out.![]() Hilary Duff has celebrated the 10th anniversary of her popular album, Breathe In. Breathe Out. The actress-singer dropped her fifth studio album on 12 June 2015, with the project including the lead single Sparks. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Hilary posted a series of photos from her camera roll snapped at the time she was recording the music, including some selfies and images with her son Luca, now 13. "It's hard to believe that Breathe In. Breathe Out. is 10 years old today. While that time in my life has some bright spots, some blurry spots and some uncomfortable pain, I look back with fondness and a now knowing that I ended up exactly where I needed to be." Hilary noted that while Breathe In. Breathe Out. didn't have "major success", it led her to work with Ed Sheeran, Tove Lo, Kara DioGuardi, and her now-husband, producer Matthew Koma. "While Breathe In. Breathe Out. didn't have major success, there was still some work on the record that felt authentic. I see you all blaming yourselves on TikTok, not actually your fault (but really it was), just kidding, but don't let it happen again...next time...okay," the 37-year-old jokingly continued. "BIBO brought Matt into my world and that's the real reason we have to love her." To conclude, Hilary confirmed she had seen videos on social media in which creators make fun of her dance moves from the time. "And lest we not forget the infamous dance moves that continue to entertain you and make me die a little inside," she added. In response, Matthew recalled how he wrote the title of the album in a notebook and Hilary took a selfie with it in the recording studio. "10 years. Dang. Still remember writing this with @danbook1 in Woodland Hills and then flirting with the talent," he wrote on his Instagram Stories. Hilary and Matthew married in 2019 and share three daughters.
