The Kid Laroi praises girlfriend Tate McRae's work ethic

The Kid Laroi has gushed about his girlfriend Tate McRae.

The 21-year-old Australian rapper and singer has praised his pop star girlfriend's work ethic.

During a recent interview with Elle, Laroi, real name Charlton Howard, was asked if any women in the music industry had offered him any helpful advice.

"Definitely my girlfriend," he replied. "She's the hardest working artist I've ever met in my entire life. And I don't say that because she's my girlfriend."

"Seeing how hard she works inspires and encourages me to follow along and do the same," he continued. "There's something really, really motivating about that - and really attractive as well."

It is thought that the couple have been together since January 2024, though they didn't make their relationship Instagram official until July of that year.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Stay singer shared rare insights into his relationship with the Greedy hitmaker.

"Sometimes it's nice to go out and do stuff like that, but most times, we'll just be like, 'Yo, should we go out for dinner? Let's just order something. Let's make something. Let's watch something,'" he said, before adding that they had recently been watching the new season of Black Mirror.

Talking about other shows they enjoy watching together, Laroi added, "The new Love on the Spectrum. That's one of the best shows ever -Connor (Tomlinson) is, like, my favourite person of all time."
