Doolittle to play Facebook gig

Eliza Doolittle is excited to play her smallest gig ever - on Facebook.

The Skinny Genes singer will perform to a cyber crowd on May 18 with an intimate and exclusive gig to celebrate the launch of a new mobile phone.

The 23-year-old said: "I'm really looking forward to performing this gig for The Carphone Warehouse's Facebook fans. My schedule is so hectic at the moment that it's great to be doing a gig that everyone can see."

But she has some trepidation, adding: "It will be a very strange feeling getting up on stage in front of some empty seats, knowing that the whole online community could be watching!"

Carphone Warehouse is staging the gig to celebrate the launch of the INQ Cloud Touch mobile.
