Music d-Reem not over for Joey

Joey Essex's music dream may not be over yet.

The Only Way Is Essex star was reportedly banned from releasing his first single Reem by TV bosses, but 360 Records - the company behind the tune - is said to be planning to still release the track, which has already found its way online.

A source reportedly told The Sun: "We are well within our rights to release this record and will do if the demand continues. I think it's a shame when a star is held back from fulfilling his full potential."

Joey previously brushed off stories about the ban by TOWIE bosses, insisting he has yet to decide if he wants to focus on his pop career or the hit TV show.

"It's a big thing, you know. If you're going to bring out a single you've got to do a lot of things," he told Digital Spy.

"I'd have to do a tour of HMV, I'd have to perform today and things like that and it's a massive thing for me - it's massive thing to decide whether I want to do it or not. And I haven't decided."

He added: "I wouldn't mind doing it, it would probably be quite cool but it depends if it is worth it. I'm not a singer, I can't sing, I'm not Justin Bieber - although I would love to be!"
