Labrinth could be getting into the recording studio with Cheryl Cole after the Girls Aloud singer got in touch on Twitter.

Cheryl took to the social networking site to tell followers she was a fan of Labrinth's new tearjerker Beneath Your Beautiful.

She said: "@labrinthda1st is so talented it's unbelievable! I am obsessed with his and @emelisande song!"

Labrinth replied: "Thanks darling. Duet soon?"

Cheryl appeared up for a collaboration, telling the Sunshine singer: "Love to!"

Labrinth performed his new track alongside Emeli on this weekend's X Factor, prompting a big boost in sales.
