Stella Lefty Takes On Sienna Spiro for UK Number 1

Stella Lefty could be heading for her first UK Number 1 single. The Californian singer-songwriter's breakout track Boston has jumped to the top of the midweek Official Chart First Look, after sitting at Number 4 for four straight weeks.

If Boston holds on, it will knock Sienna Spiro's Great Expectation off the summit. The British star's track slips to Number 2 after two weeks at Number 1.

There is plenty of movement elsewhere in the Top 10. Noah Kahan's Orbiter is set to rise 16 places to Number 6, which would give him his highest UK chart position since Homesick, his 2024 collaboration with Sam Fender.

Welsh artist Jamie Miller is in line for his first Top 10 single. A new version of Babydoll featuring Antonio Cipriano, known for the series Off Campus, climbs 17 spots to Number 7.

Dua Lipa's 2024 hit Training Season keeps rising, reaching Number 4 to match its previous peak. Olivia Dean appears twice in the early Top 10: Man I Need is up to Number 5, while her Sam Fender duet Rein Me In stays at Number 8. Olivia Rodrigo's The Cure is at Number 9, and Sienna Spiro's former chart-topper Die On This Hill completes the top tier at Number 10.

Beyond the Top 10, 16-year-old Freya Skye is tracking for the week's highest new entry at Number 15 with bad taste, after releasing her debut EP stardust earlier this year. Slovak pop artist ADÉLA is eyeing a new peak of Number 13 with Nicole Kidman, and house producer Cloonee could make his Top 40 debut with Good Girl, featuring Prospa and Tristan Henry, which enters the midweeks at Number 30.

The final positions will be confirmed on Friday's Official Singles Chart Top 100.
