NewsSeptember, 9 Kelly Osbourne Reveals Cocaine Introduction
Kelly Osbourne has revealed that she was introduced to cocaine by one of her father Ozzy Osbourne's friends. The disclosure came during a new documentary about the Sunset Marquis hotel in West Hollywood. In the film, titled If These Walls Could Rock, the 41-year-old shared that she tried the drug for the first time at that venue, with the substance provided by a member of a "very big band." She admitted, "I did my first line of cocaine in this hotel, which was given to me by one of my dad's friends in a very, very, very big band." Kelly, who is an actress and reality TV star, said she kept the incident secret for years because she knew her father, the former frontman of heavy metal band Black Sabbath until his death in July 2025 at age 76, would not have taken it well. She joked, "I could never tell my parents because they would f**king kill him!" She explained that she grew up staying at the hotel, which is known for its rock and roll connections, because it was "the only hotel that my dad could stay in, at the time, where my dad could be himself." She added, "We'd be kicked out of everywhere, but not the Sunset Marquis. My dad could misbehave politely here." Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, also spoke in the documentary, recalling how Ozzy treated the place like his own home. The 73-year-old said, "He would love it here because he could wander. He could wander around outside in the garden. In those days he'd smoke. It was like you were in your own home with a lot of friends."
