NewsApril, 5 Winehouse suggests Beyonce donationAmy Winehouse's father Mitch Winehouse has revealed he had no idea about Beyonce's plans to cover Back To Black for the Great Gatsby soundtrack. E! News reported that the Single Ladies singer is teaming up with OutKast's Andre 3000 for the duet - made famous by the late jazz-soul songstress - with a spokesperson for Interscope Records promising it will be "a very different take" from Amy's version. Mitch suggested that Beyonce could donate some money to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which was founded by her family and friends to help young people struggling with drug and alcohol misuse. "First I have heard about Beyonce and Back To Black. Sounds like some of you don't like the idea. Let me repeat. This is the first I have heard of Beyonce doing Amy's song," Mitch tweeted. He added: "What if Beyonce gave £100,000 to (the) foundation. Do you know how many kids that would help? Just putting it out there". Jay-Z, Beyonce's husband, has collaborated with filmmaker Baz Luhrmann in the role of executive producer to create the music for the big-screen adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald's novel, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire.
