Bo's contract of kisses and chocs

Bo Bruce has revealed her record contract includes clauses for mandatory kisses and chocolate.

The singer - who was a runner-up on BBC talent show The Voice last year - is about to release her debut album Before I Got To Sleep after signing a record deal. But she told The Sun about some of the unusual clauses in her contract.

Bo explained: "Johnny the drummer just had a baby who I spend a lot of time hanging around with, so I said in the contract I had to have a kiss from his baby every year until he knows better.

"And then when my manager saw that he said, 'Right, I want Maltesers, once a year, or week,' or something. He gets Maltesers and I get kisses. Everyone's a winner."

The 28-year-old singer also revealed how a fortunate coincidence got her signed to Coldplay's agent and a collaboration with Snow Patrol.

Bo explained: "I went to a Coldplay gig and was in the same box as Snow Patrol basically. I wasn't meant to be in there, but my tickets got muddled up.

"And some guy took me under his wing and said, 'Come with me.' I thought he was a bouncer. I gave him a hug and said thanks for looking after me. Then he introduced himself as Coldplay's agent and said he was a big fan and wanted to work with me.

So in one night, I had him saying, 'I want to sign you' - the same agent as your favourite band in the world. And then I also met Snow Patrol. None of that would've happened had I won, I would've been away doing other things."
