NewsSeptember, 26 Aguilera sings for Catching FireChristina Aguilera has revealed her new song will be featured in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The Beautiful songstress has taken time out from being a judge on The Voice USA to record the track, We Remain, which will be on the soundtrack of the Hunger Games sequel. "Love the underlying message of @TheHungerGames. "We Remain" is special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike," she tweeted. It is the first new music from Christina since the release of her seventh album Lotus in 2012, although she featured on Pitbull's single Feel This Moment. Coldplay's sweeping piano ballad Atlas and The National's Lean are the o ther songs which have been written and recorded specifically for Catching Fire. Jennifer Lawrence will reprise her role as feisty survivor Katniss Everdeen, alongside Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark in the highly anticipated follow-up to The Hunger Games, based on the book trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci and Woody Harrelson will also return for the second film of the franchise, while Jena Malone, Sam Claflin, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Jeffrey Wright join the cast. Catching Fire will open in cinemas in November.
