Billion Lights for JLS' last song

JLS have revealed that they are "very excited" to unveil their final single, Billion Lights.

The track, described as a "straight up pop banger with a serious electric edge", will be the last tune from the boyband - Jonathan 'JB' Gill, Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold and Oritse Williams - before they break up, following their farewell tour in December.

"So... We're very excited to finally share this!! The brand new JLS single is called 'Billion Lights'!! :)" the group tweeted.

Marvin, who is set to be a host on BBC's The Voice, added: "Billion Lights!!! You will hear it for the very first time on Monday Morning! Excited for you..it's gonna be a big day!"

Oritse, who will face former boyband singer Brian McFadden in the Stepping Out final on September 28, revealed that the single is dedicated to their fans, who have supported them since they found success on The X Factor in 2008.

"What can I say guys #BILLIONLIGHTS ! This is the last single from us! When I think back to our 1st single and everything that's happened up until this point!" the 26-year-old wrote.

"All I can say Is Thank You for changing our lives, but on a personal note Thank You for putting me in a position where I can provide for my family! For me #billionlights represents every single one of you shining like a light when I look out into the crowd! Thank You #Grateful #OriLovesYou," he added.

Billion Lights, which will have its radio debut on September 30, will be released on November 10, ahead of the release of JLS' last album Goodbye - The Greatest Hits.
