Britney will sing live in Las Vegas

Britney Spears has insisted she will sing live during her Las Vegas residency, and said she always does even if the results aren't great.

The Toxic singer was rumoured to be planning to lip sync her way through the shows, which run from December to February, but according to the Daily Mail she told Chicago's 103.5 Kiss FM that was completely untrue.

She said: "I'm definitely going to be singing live. I always sing live. It doesn't sound so great all the time, but I do my best."

Her manager Larry Rudolph added: "She does choreography and vocal coaching every day."

Britney plans to sing 21 hits over 90 minutes in the upcoming Piece Of Me shows.

Fans walked out of one of Britney's Circus performances in Australia four years ago, accusing her of lip syncing.

The mum-of-two told Shape magazine earlier this year that she was doing lots of yoga and cardio work to make sure she was ready for her Vegas shows.

"The performances won't be simple - they'll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed," said the star.
