Cher Lloyd at Thanksgiving Parade

Cher Lloyd was among the stars who braved the cold to perform at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

The former X Factor contestant rose on a New York-themed float and entertained the crowd of thousands of people with her latest single I Wish.

Cher, who has been attempting to crack the US, recently revealed she had secretly married her hairdresser boyfriend Craig Monk.

But the Swagger Jagger star kept her wedding ring under wraps at the show in the Big Apple, where she was wrapped up in mittens and a warm hat and coat.

Cher, 20, tweeted after the show: "Hope everyone has had an amazing day! #HappyThanksgiving xxx."

Other stars who performed included X Factor USA girl group Fifth Harmony, American singer Ariana Grande and country pop duo Florida Georgia Line.
