Gomez: I've never been happier

Selena Gomez has revealed that she has been spending time with her nearest and dearest, following the cancellation of her Australian and Asian tour dates.

The Come And Get It singer posted a photo on Instagram of her holding a baby, thought to be her sister Gracie.

She wrote: "I'm the happiest I've been in a while.. So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved."

Selena's Stars Dance tour was set to travel to Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Down Under in the New Year, but the 21-year-old announced the cancellation of those shows on December 20.

She issued a statement through promoter Live Nation saying that she needed to spend more time on "myself, to be a better person".

"My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them," the former Disney star said.

"But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be.

"To my fans, I sincerely apologise and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me," she added.
