Kesha back in public eye post-rehab

Kesha has made her first red carpet appearance since leaving rehab where she was treated for an eating disorder.

The Timber singer attended the United States' 60th Anniversary Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel over the weekend and looked happy and healthy in a sheer black, sparkly gown.

She left an Illinois rehab centre on March 8 and flew to Los Angeles, where she was spotted in the airport wearing a sweatshirt that read, "Ima Survivor".

Posting a photo of herself in the plane after she landed, she tweeted: "Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music. I can't thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me.

"Life is beautiful. I'm so blessed to have u all."

The singer's representative later confirmed that she was no longer using a dollar sign in place of the 's' in her name and had reverted back to the original spelling, Kesha, as well as changing her Twitter handle from @Ke$haSuxx to @KeshaRose.
