NewsMay, 8 McBusted to record debut album?McFly are reportedly scrapping plans to record a sixth album, in favour for a joint record as McBusted. The boyband, who have joined with members of Busted to create the supergroup, are said to be keen on making a full McBusted album and are willing to put aside their own music for a while. A source told the Daily Mirror that the McFly bandmates - Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd - are the "happiest they've ever been" as they toured around the UK with Busted members James Bourne and Matt Willis. McFly, who recorded some tracks for the follow-up to 2010's Above The Noise in Texas last summer, are now considering putting those songs away. The sixth McFly album was previously confirmed to be released this spring. McFly drummer Harry said McBusted would be hitting the studio after their UK tour. "It will happen after the tour. We'll be writing on the road and hopefully soon after the tour we'll get in the studio," he revealed.
