NewsJuly, 19 Taylor Swift nixes pseudonym and puts name back on Calvin Harris hitTaylor Swift is shaking off her songwriter pseudonym on the hit song she co-wrote with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris. The pop superstar recently confirmed she had penned the lyrics for This Is What You Came For, Calvin's latest collaboration with Rihanna, after initially trying to keep her involvement in the track a secret by having it credited to her pseudonym, Nils Sjoberg. The truth was only revealed after reports suggested a dispute over the the song had led to the end of Taylor and Calvin's relationship, after the DJ dismissed the idea of teaming up with the singer in the studio during a radio interview on the day of the single's April (16) release. The denial is said to have been the "breaking point in the relationship", and they split in late May (16). Now the Style star has apparently changed her mind about having her real name listed on the track, and has had the credits altered to reflect her true identity. On the database for BMI, the organisation which protects licences for songwriters, Taylor's name is now clearly stated in the writing credits for the tune instead of Nils Sjoberg. However, Taylor's Sjoberg pseudonym is still listed on the ASCAP database, a similar site for credit listings and performance rights. While it's unclear what Taylor's intentions were in officially changing the co-writing credit to her real name, the move comes after Calvin took aim at his ex for trying to make him "look bad" after her rep confirmed her involvement in the song. He took to Twitter last week (ends15Jul16) to insist he wasn't the one who wanted to keep her contributions a secret, and expressed his disappointment in her publicists, who appeared to have spun the story to discredit the dance star. He wrote, "Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though". He also touched on Taylor's rebound romance with Thor actor Tom Hiddleston, who she began dating just days after parting ways with Calvin, and took a swipe at the singer for attempting to "bury" him, like Katy Perry, her pop nemesis. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do," the DJ continued. "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it."
