Perrie Edwards is ‘scared of committing to new beau’

Perrie Edwards is reportedly wary of committing to her new beau too quickly.

The Little Mix singer was left heartbroken when her former fiance Zayn Malik, 23, called off their engagement last summer (15) – not long after his shock departure from One Direction.

It seems as though Perrie, also 23, has found romance once again with former Skins star Luke Pasqualino, however insiders stress that she doesn’t want to rush into things after being hurt.

“Luke’s really been pursuing Perrie,” a source told Britain’s Look magazine. “But she’s been extremely burnt in the past and she’s definitely been holding off from committing too soon.”

During her time with Zayn rumours swirled that the former boyband member had been unfaithful, but nothing was ever confirmed. The now-solo star has moved on with model Gigi Hadid, apparently leaving his ex-fiancee questioning where they went wrong.

“Perrie felt that when she and Zayn were together she very much gave him everything and ultimately it didn’t work,” the source added. “Now she’s a lot more cautious. She finds it quite hard to trust people these days.”

Meanwhile insiders insist Luke, 26, isn’t giving up that easily. The pair have been spotted out on several occasions recently and he’s even said to have invited her on a romantic trip to Paris, to which Perrie has allegedly responded with a “we’ll see”.

The romance may come as a surprise to Zayn, who in 2013 admitted he’d like to see Luke play him on screen if there was ever a film made about his life.
