Michael Buble's son 'will spend Christmas at home'

Michael Buble's son Noah will be released from hospital to spend Christmas at home with his family.

The Canadian singer and his wife Luisana Lopilato will spend the festive season with Noah, who is battling liver cancer, in Los Angeles instead of their home in Vancouver, Canada.

Luisana’s actor brother Dario and father Eduardo are expected to travel to California from their homes in Argentina to join her mother Beatriz, who has been with her daughter since Noah's diagnosis, for a big family celebration, according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.

Little Noah, who is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Los Angeles, will get to spend Christmas at home with his family after being deemed well enough by doctors.

Michael announced the sad news of their son's diagnosis on Facebook in November (16), and Luisana's sister Daniela subsequently revealed the tot is battling liver cancer, adding that her nephew is a "warrior".

The couple has not commented on Noah's condition since announcing their eldest son's health crisis and asking for privacy. "At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy," they wrote in the statement posted online. "We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing."

Noah began chemotherapy treatment in the U.S. in a bid to shrink the tumour, and media outlets reported the youngster will be having surgery to remove it later this month (Dec16).

Michael has put his career on hold to support his eldest son, pulling out of a performance at the upcoming BBC Music Awards in London on Monday (12Dec16) so he can remain in the U.S. where Noah is receiving treatment.

The crooner is currently still scheduled to host the BRIT Awards in London in February (17) and the Juno Awards in Canada in April (17).

Michael and Luisana are also parents to son Elias, who will turn one in January (17).
