SZA surpasses Adele's record for most weeks in the top 10

SZA's album SOS has surpassed Adele's 21 with the most weeks in the Billboard Top 10.

The album scores an 85th week in the top 10 this week, earning it the honour of the longest stint in the top 10 of all albums by women.

SOS was first released in 2022. Both SOS and 21 are former No. 1s, with SOS having spent 12 weeks atop the tally, collecting its two most recent weeks at the top in January following its SOS Deluxe: LANA reissue.

Both albums, however, fall short of the record for the most weeks in the Top 10 overall, which goes to the My Fair Lady soundtrack with 173 weeks in 1956. In second place on 158 weeks is Morgan Wallen with his 2023 double album, Dangerous.

The talented songstress has also written songs for the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna, featuring on the latter's acclaimed Anti album with the song Consideration.

She's since featured on songs with Drake, Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar, Maroon 5, Travis Scott, Phoebe Bridgers and Justin Bieber.

Back in 2014, she supported Coldplay's Ghost Stories Tour. The two acts headlined at Glastonbury last year.
