NewsMay, 5 LISA confirms new BLACKPINK album![]() LISA has confirmed that BLACKPINK are working on a new album. The Thai rapper and singer has revealed that the South Korean girl group, made up of herself, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo, have a new album in the works. In a recent interview with Variety, LISA confirmed that the group will be releasing new music "soon". "Actually, we were in the studio a few days ago," she divulged. "We're all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the blinks. We can't wait to see them." However, the K-pop star did not reveal any further details, teasing, "You have to be patient about it. It's coming soon, I promise. It's about time." The new album would be the first material released by BLACKPINK since they dropped their 2023 single The Girls, which followed their second studio album, 2022's Born Pink. Since the release of Born Pink, all members of the group have embarked on solo careers. Rosé was the first member to release her debut solo album, Rosie, which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, Jisoo released her album Amortage in February, while LISA and Jennie released their albums Alter Ago and Ruby in February and March respectively. BLACKPINK will kick off their fourth concert tour this summer with two shows in Seoul, South Korea on 5th July. The group will then head to North America for shows in California, Chicago, Toronto and New York. After a series of concerts in Europe, the tour will conclude in January 2026 with two shows in Tokyo, Japan.
