Danny O'Donoghue has married his long-term girlfriend, Anais Niang. The Script frontman tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on Thursday, sharing that they were "over the moon" to become husband and wife. The singer cut a handsome figure in a classic tux and bow tie, while his bride wore a dazzling white gown with a voluminous layered skirt. In a message to the MailOnline, the couple gushed: "We're over the moon to be married and now we take the first steps on the journey of the rest of our lives together!" O'Donoghue and Niang first met during the coronavirus pandemic, bumping into each other in London, and have been together for five years. They went public with their romance at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2021, with O'Donoghue revealing at the time that his new love had received the seal of approval from his mother. "We actually live in the same part of London, and up until now we've mainly just been hanging out at home. My mum loved her, and they offered her lots of tea." He has shown his love for the French beauty in his music with the One Thing I Got Right and Anais' favourite song, At Your Feet, which Danny has said is "directly about her". The singer proposed while on holiday in Norway in August last year.
