NewsMay, 9 Keith Urban honoured by peers at ACM Awards![]() Keith Urban has been honoured at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, as he officially accepted his Triple Crown. To mark the occasion, Megan Moroney, Chris Stapleton and Brothers Osborne covered three Urban classics live on stage. Moroney took the stage first for a hushed acoustic performance of Stupid Boy, from Urban's 2006 album Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing. Stapleton interpreted the bluesy Blue Ain't Your Colour from Urban's 2016 album Ripcord, and to close out the tribute, the Brothers Osborne cranked the volume for a rendition of Where the Blacktop Ends. At this point, Urban grabbed a guitar from under his chair and hopped onstage to join in. The Triple Crown honour recognises artists who have completed the award trifecta of New Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year, and was last presented to Carrie Underwood in 2010. Urban joins the ranks of fellow Triple Crown honorees including Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Dolly Parton and Brooks & Dunn. Urban has scored 50 ACM Awards nominations in his career with 14 wins. This year, Luke Combs was looking to join the elite group of Triple Crown-eligible artists. He has previously won the New Male Artist and Male Artist trophies, and was in the running for Entertainer of the Year this year. Sadly, it didn't happen for him this year, with Lainey Wilson winning on the night.
