Rita Ora offers dating advice after finding love with Taika Waititi

Rita Ora has shared dating tips for those seeking a successful romance like hers with Taika Waititi.

The 34-year-old singer has been married to the director and actor, 49, since 2022 and says that having an open mind was key to finding love.

Discussing her marriage with The Sun, the Hot Right Now singer said, "I feel in a really great happy place right now."

Offering her advice to singletons looking for love, she suggested avoiding a rigid list of requirements.

Ora explained, "I have never really had a type, I have never really thought of it like that. It's always been about the person.

"I've never cancelled anyone out as they don't fit my perfect list of what I think's perfect. You don't really know until you meet someone who takes you by surprise. Being open may surprise you."

The British star, who met her now-husband in Los Angeles through mutual friends in 2021, says her dating tip has helped some of her closest friends find true love.

She said, "It's helped a lot of my friends and now I see them and they are really happy, but admit they'd have never gone for that person."

Ora releases her new single, called Heat, on Friday and has teased fans it is a sizzling slice of pop and sensuality.

She said, "I wanted to really celebrate my sexuality and the way I am as a woman... I wanted to celebrate everything I have become. It's not super deep, just fun."
