Olivia Rodrigo joined by The Cure's Robert Smith during Glastonbury set

Olivia Rodrigo was joined by The Cure's Robert Smith during her headline set at the Glastonbury Festival on Sunday night.

Amid her performance on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset, England, the Drivers License singer halted the show to introduce the legendary musician.

"Glastonbury has been my dream festival forever and I can't believe today is the day... I'm so wildly excited about this next guest, I can't even contain it. He is perhaps the best songwriter to come out of England (and) a Glastonbury legend. And a personal hero of mine. Would you please welcome, Robert Smith!" she exclaimed, as Smith walked onto the stage, clad in a black sequin jacket.

Rodrigo and Smith went on to perform two of The Cure's songs: 1992's Friday I'm In Love and 1987's Just Like Heaven.

Most recently, The Cure played a headline set at Glastonbury in 2019.

Elsewhere in her 90-minute set, Rodrigo played a string of her own hits, including Vampire and Traitor.

And to conclude the show, she donned a pair of sequin hotpants emblazoned with the Union Jack and professed her love for the U.K.

"I f**king love England," she gushed. "I love the culture. I love how nobody judges you for having a pint at noon. I love English sweets - I've had three sticky toffee puddings since I arrived."

She also dedicated the track So American to her British boyfriend, actor Louis Partridge.

"I also really love English boys," the popstar continued. "I wrote this next song when I was falling in love with this boy from London and as we were getting to know each other, we were discovering all of these cross-cultural differences. I would make fun of him for eating a jacket potato with beans inside of it. He would make fun of me for pronouncing things very American - like Glaston-berry - so I took all of our little inside jokes and I made a song on that."

Rodrigo concluded the set with renditions of Good 4 U and Get Him Back!
