Lady Gaga calls fiancé 'love of my life' in heartfelt letter

Lady Gaga is "forever grateful" to fiancé Michael Polansky for the impact he has had on her life and career.

In her acceptance speech for Artist of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Sunday night, the superstar - real name Stefani Germanotta - dedicated her win to the entrepreneur, whom she described as her "partner in all things".

And taking to Instagram on Monday, Gaga posted two sweet photos of herself and Michael.

In the accompanying caption, the Abracadabra singer wrote a love letter in honour of her fiancé, describing him as "MY artist of the year".

"I love how much you love my fans and want them to be happy," she began. "It fills my heart with happiness how much you love them because we get to love them every day together - you care as much as I do about people feeling seen in the world. I'm forever grateful for how much you love and fight for me."

Gaga went on to note that Michael has been involved in her creative journey in recent years, with him garnering writing and production credits on some of the tracks on her latest album, Mayhem. They also co-wrote the original song, All I Need Is Time.

"You work so so hard with me from dawn till dusk every day living the music, performances, and plans with your blood sweat and tears - to see it through every step of the way this year I am the luckiest girl alive. I love you endlessly. Having your creative partnership in our art, business and in love - is a love I've never known," the 39-year-old continued.

Elsewhere in the heartfelt message, Gaga described Michael as a "true Renaissance man".

"Your mind and kind heart are what make you shine. I have seen there's nothing you can't do. You are MY artist of the year. And the love of my life. Thank you for making all our MAYHEM dreams come true," she added.

Gaga and the 46-year-old started dating in 2020 and got engaged last year.
