NewsMarch, 26 Rosalía abruptly ends concert amid severe bout of food poisoning
Rosalía was forced to end her concert in Milan, Italy early on Wednesday night due to a bout of food poisoning. The Spanish singer-songwriter was performing at the Unipol Forum as part of her Lux Tour when she abruptly halted the gig. Returning to the stage, Rosalía announced to the crowd that she was feeling unwell. "I tried to do this show since the very beginning (even though) I've been sick," she began, according to fan footage posted on social media. "I've had, big-time food poisoning (come on) and I tried to push it until the end, but I'm feeling extremely sick... I'm puking out there... I really want to give the best show, and I'm like on the floor trying my best. I may try to continue, but at some point, I might have to stop. I'm extremely sick, and I'm really trying, I'll push on as much as I can, but if we have to stop, we might have to stop if I really physically, I can't keep going. I'm in pain." But a short time later, the Despechá hitmaker conceded that she was too sick to continue with the concert. "I've tried by all means to continue the show until the end, but I'm really unwell, and I can't do it," the 33-year-old added. Rosalía has not yet given fans an update on her health. It's unclear whether she will perform another Lux Tour concert in Italy at this point. She is next scheduled to perform at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, Spain on 30 March.
