Robbie Williams plans solo tour

Robbie Williams is already planning a new solo tour, inspired by the success of the Take That Progress Live shows.

The Let Me Entertain You singer has received some criticism for his solo work in recent years, after album Rudebox flopped, but is determined to prove he has still got it.

Robbie wrote on his blog at Robbiewilliams.com: "I must say I am aware that there is a perception in certain quarters and I'm enjoying throwing down people's throats when I jump through the wall in Let Me Entertain You.

"I've never felt more on my game and it's thanks in part to the nay sayers... they have put a fire in my belly and in turn a smile on my face... I'm blessed to have them.

"And when the tickets go on sale for my next tour I think we'll see what 'dwindling' looks like."

The 37-year-old revealed he does his best to ignore his critics.

Robbie added in another blog post: "I am what I think I am... an awkward bulging pensive man or master of the universe. It depends on which thought comes first.

"People think I am a ham. The trick is not to give a dam. Some people think I'm made of dreams, the truth is somewhere in between."
