Career's a blessing for Rhymes

Busta Rhymes considers his continuing career a "blessing".

The rapper - who is headlining the One Love Peace festival at Wembley Arena on July 31 - has been in the industry for over 20 years, from his early work with hip-hop crew Leaders Of The New School to his solo work, and feels thankful that he is still successful decades on.

"The fact that I'm far from being done, I love that more than anything," he said.

Busta, who is currently working on his ninth album ELE 2, assured fans that he is far from stopping.

"You know, it's always great to be able to have contributed and been around for as long as me, but I think it's even more rewarding to know that people have not had enough of me, and I still have a whole lot to do," he continued.

The nine-time Grammy-nominated star added: "The fact is the people still want it in such an extreme fashion and an extreme manner, so it's a blessing to still be as relevant, despite the climate shift in music."
