R Kelly brings back Trapped series

R Kelly is planning to deliver more chapters of his Trapped In The Closet song series.

The outrageous musical series started off as five videos for the R&B singer's dramatic cliffhanger songs in 2007. It quickly became a cult classic, and he added more chapters, put the videos on a DVD and teamed up with the Independent Film Channel (IFC) to premiere it.

For the next chapters in the series - which tells the story of a one-night stand that sets off a chain of events - Kelly is teaming up with the IFC again.

He said in a statement that the series was "not of this Earth".

Kelly has a new album due soon, as well as a memoir due out in June.

It's unclear when the new Trapped chapters will debut.
