Swift to pen song about Styles?

Taylor Swift has sparked rumours that she might pen a song about her brief romance with Harry Styles.

The US pop star started dating the One Direction heartthrob after they met on US X Factor last year but they split last week, apparently following a bust-up while they were on holiday in the Caribbean.

Taylor, who often works her romances into her songs, has now tweeted: "Back in the studio. Uh oh..."

The blonde had hinted that all might not be well in her relationship with Harry when she posted the lyric "'Til you put me down", a line from her song I Knew You Were Trouble, on Twitter on Sunday.

The 22-year-old has been open about the fact that her love life gives her material for her music, and she has previously written songs about former beaus including Jake Gyllenhaal and Joe Jonas.

She once told Us Weekly: "I've always lived by the theory that if a guy doesn't want me to write a bad song about him, he won't do bad things."
