Sharleen Spiteri ended up being treated in hospital for concussion when she took a tumble while shooting a new music video.

The Texas singer was filming in Paris when she fell off the pavement into the road, The Sun reports.

The Glaswegian was being chased by actor Peter Mullan for the video for her new single when she slipped into the road and fell on her face.

According to the newspaper, she was taken to hospital with concussion, and suffered black eyes and a split lip.

The shoot for The Conversation was postponed and had to be finished in London and Glasgow.
