Lopez working on music with Sia

Jennifer Lopez has collaborated with Sia for her new album.

The Dance Again singer is recording her eighth studio record and reportedly recruited the singer-songwriter for one of the tracks.

Sia tweeted: "Worked with jenny from the block yesterday. (@JLo !) what a charming, sweet, funny person. And she can really SING! Anyhoo. Super fun."

Producer Steve Mostyn tweeted: "Another rockin sesh with @jlo and @Sia !! What a combo!! @Oakwud @GOOOOOOOOMUSIC betta recognize!! I love these guys!! This song though..."

J-Lo is expected to unveil her latest record this year. It will be the follow up to her 2011 offering Love?

As well as her music, the star's TV career is going from strength to strength with reports that she is set to rejoin the judging panel of American Idol.

The singer and actress was a judge on the 10th and 11th series of the Fox talent show, but left after the 11th season in 2012. It has now been reported that she is in talks to rejoin the show, following the exits of judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Randy Jackson.
