Lily Cooper sets comeback date?

Lily Cooper has hinted she is planning to release new music early next year.

The 28-year-old singer - formerly known as Lily Allen - announced her retirement from music in 2009 and is now mum to 21-month-old Ethel and seven-month-old Marnie.

But in response to a Twitter message from blog Popjustice, telling her to put a single out and make it amazing, Lily replied "April March".

The Smile singer has been hinting at a return for some time.

Last year she confirmed she had been back in the recording studio with longtime collaborator Greg Kurstin.

She also worked on a track with Pink and performed live with her last August at a gig in Los Angeles.

And in February this year she performed her hit Smile at the Etam lingerie show in Paris, during Paris Fashion Week.
