Plan B's dreams of Prodigy show

Plan B has revealed he would love to perform with dance act The Prodigy.

The iLL Manors rapper - whose real name is Ben Drew - admitted he would like to share the stage with the pioneers of the big beat genre (Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality), counting them as his biggest inspiration.

"It would be The Prodigy for me. I love them, man. I'd love to share a stage with them," he said.

The 29-year-old added: "In terms of aggressive dance production, when I was writing songs on my little acoustic guitar, that was something I could only dream of. Songs like iLL Manors was born out of my love for The Prodigy and it was a real honour when they did the remix."

Ben, who launched O2's 4G network with a live streaming gig at London's Shepherds Bush Empire, has been focusing on rising artists with his publishing company, Temperamental Music.

"I've been working on new music, but not my own. I've been working and writing songs with some up-and-coming writers like Kwabs and Denai Moore, and I've been taken an executive role, kicking back and creating without having to worry about selling my product afterwards," he revealed.

He admitted he's not ready to make another Plan B album yet.

"I don't want to start saying, 'This is going to be my next album' because that gives you the responsibility to make that album," he said.

"I'm still performing The Defamation Of Strickland Banks now - it came out in 2009 - and I know whatever I do next is going to be relative to that and will take up a big chunk of my life, and then I'll be 40. I want to believe in my next project and be passionate about it."
