NewsNovember, 22 Barlow not haunted by last albumGary Barlow has revealed he is enjoying the music-making process this time around, as he prepares to release his new album. The Take That frontman and X Factor judge, who is set to make his solo comeback with Since I Saw You Last on November 25, admitted he isn't "haunted" by the pressure of his last record, Twelve Months, Eleven Days, which reached the 35th spot in the UK charts when it was released in 1999. "The last solo record was such a mess. I thought, is it going to haunt? All those memories - but it hasn't done," he told Metro. "It's felt like a new thing to make this record. Dead easy. I haven't been tearing my hair out. I'm the most comfortable I've ever been," he added. Gary - who will reunite with his Take That bandmates to start working on the band's new music in January - said being contented in life has affected his music. "I'm in a great place in my private life. I'm very happily married. Got great children. I'm making music. TV's good. It feels just great," he said. "To be there thinking, 'Will people like it?' and 'What do people think about me?' - that's not a good place to be. That was the place that I was in 14 years ago." The 42-year-old continued: "I know how quickly these things turn. So while they're here, I'm really trying to enjoy it because I know I will look back in six months or three years and go, 'That was an amazing time'."
