Fatal Crash Involves Buckcherry Tour Bus

Buckcherry has confirmed that their tour bus was involved in a fatal multi-vehicle accident while traveling for their US tour. The incident occurred in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, according to a statement the rock band shared on social media.

In their message, the group expressed relief that all band members and crew were safe and unharmed. However, authorities reported that the collision ahead of their bus tragically resulted in a fatality. The band extended their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.

Local news outlets reported that the South Carolina Department of Transportation responded to an incident on Interstate 26 where a pedestrian was struck and killed. The pedestrian had exited his vehicle and was hit by a Toyota sedan, dying at the scene.

At the time, Josh Todd (lead vocals), Stevie D (guitar), Kelly LeMieux (bass), Francis Ruiz (drums), and Billy Rowe (guitar) were en route for the band's Roar Like Thunder Tour. Despite the tragedy, upcoming performances are expected to go ahead as scheduled.
