Gigi Hadid 'puts Zayn trust issues on back-burner'

Gigi Hadid is reportedly doing all she can to help beau Zayn Malik get over his anxiety.

The former One Direction singer was recently forced to pull out of a performance at a U.K. music event because of an anxiety attack. It was to mark the very first time 23-year-old Zayn has performed solo in his home country, and he was quick to take to Twitter to apologise to his hoards of fans.Despite recent split rumours because of alleged trust issues, his girlfriend Gigi, 21, has apparently vowed to help the Pillowtalk star any way she can.

“Gigi has put all their problems on the back-burner. Watching her mother battle Lyme disease taught Gigi that life is too precious to sweat the small stuff,” a source told Britian’s Grazia magazine. “All the trust issues she had are pushed to the back of her mind; she wants to be there for him.”

The model’s mother, reality TV star Yolanda Foster, was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, which is caused by a tick bite.

Superstar Adele is also reportedly helping Zayn with his issues, as she too has suffered with the debilitating anxiety attacks that have left her unable to perform. His management has also been offering support.

"Zayn's management are doing everything they can to help him because it’s having a major impact on his career," a source told Britain’s Sunday Mirror newspaper.

In the tweet written following his U.K. gig cancellation, Zayn told fans he had suffered “the worst anxiety” of his career.

“I cannot apologise enough but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me, I promise I will do my best to make this up to everybody I’ve let down today,” he stated.
