NewsJuly, 25 Guns N' Roses fans arrestedThirty people were arrested at Guns N Roses' concert on Saturday (23.07.16). The 'Welcome to the Jungle' hitmakers played at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium over the weekend and the show wasn't without trouble as local authorities confirmed they had apprehended multiple people, including one woman who was taken into custody for assaulting a police officer. The New Jersey State Police revealed to New Jersey 101.5 that Kimberly Goodman, 30, was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, while other arrests included 11 for solicitation, nine for disorderly conduct and three for criminal trespassing. In addition, other offences included open lewdness, resisting arrest, harassment and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana. Meanwhile, Duff McKagan's wife claims the bassist was instrumental in reuniting feuding Axl Rose and Slash for the group's reunion tour. Model and swimsuit designer Susan Holmes-McKagan told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "He was a major part of the crew that helped pull this [tour] together. "[He's a] good team player" [and solves problems] in the most businesslike, peaceful manner." The blonde beauty says she and the couple's daughters Grace, 18, and Mae, 16, couldn't be happier that the group are back together. She said: "It's really exciting for all of us. Our family's grown up with this band in and out." Earlier this month, the rockers were detained at the Canadian border when they were caught with a gun in their possession, but insisted it wasn't theirs. Frontman Axl later told the audience at their gig held at the Rogers Centre in Ontario: "We weren't exactly arrested. We were detained. They [the custom officers] were very nice, they were very understanding. You know, it happens: You can forget you have a fucking gun. It wasn't my gun." A spokesperson for Guns N' Roses confirmed that the gun didn't belong to any of the band members. The representative said: "Yes, this indeed happened on Friday, July 15, as they were crossing the border coming from the Philadelphia tour stop on the 14th."
