NewsFebruary, 11 Kanye West's online store taken down over swastika T-shirts![]() Kanye West's online store has been taken down days after he released a swastika T-shirt. The rapper, also known as Ye, has faced backlash after promoting his Yeezy website during the LIX Super Bowl at the weekend. In the 30-second commercial, which was filmed on an iPhone, Kanye urged fans to visit his online store, which was selling just one product, a $20 (£16) white T-shirt bearing a black swastika. According to Variety, the website was selling a range of unbranded clothing items when the ad first aired on Sunday night. However, the items were soon removed, leaving the swastika T-shirt as the only product available. E-commerce platform Shopify has now shut down the online store and orders for the T-shirt are no longer being processed. "All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform," the company said in a statement to CBS MoneyWatch. "This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms, so we removed them from Shopify." Kanye has yet to comment on the removal of his online store. The Super Bowl ad aired amid Kanye's latest antisemitic social media rant, in which he declared his "love" for dictator Adolf Hitler and referred to himself as a Nazi. He also claimed his swastika T-shirt was his "greatest performance art piece thus far". The Flashing Lights rapper's X account has since been deactivated.
