Drake shouts concert-going couple a honeymoon

Drake has paid for the honeymoon of a couple of concert-goers who got engaged during his Sydney show.

The Canadian rapper asked for the moment to be put on the big screens so the entire arena could see the young man propose to his girlfriend.

Getting down on one knee, the Drake fan presented a diamond ring to his partner and asked for her hand in marriage.

Cheers erupted when the dark-haired woman accepted.

"Put the ring on her, man," a delighted Drake said as he watched the couple embrace.

"Put that ring on her, man, you can kiss later."

"Maybe a long time ago we had somebody get married at one of our gigs, it's been years, it's been years," the five-time Grammy-award winner told the crowd.

He then turned to where the couple were seated in the stadium and surprised them with a very generous gift.

"Listen, from me to you, from me to you, we're sending you on a honeymoon wherever you want to go in the world, and I'm gonna give 25k. Congratulations, congratulations," he gushed.

Drake is currently on the Australian leg of his Anita Max Win tour.
