Megan Thee Stallion launches tequila brand

Megan Thee Stallion has celebrated her 30th birthday by launching her own tequila brand.

Coinciding with the Savage rapper turning the milestone age on 15 February, the new alcohol line, named Chicas Divertidas, will include two premium offerings - Blanco and Reposado.

"As someone who values good vibes and great memories, I knew I wanted to create a tequila that was designed to be shared and savoured with my Hotties," the Grammy Award winner said, referring to the name she uses for her fans. "Smooth, sultry, and premium. This process has been years in the making, and I'm so proud to take this next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and launch this brand."

According to brand executives, the tequila is crafted from single-source Blue Weber agave which is harvested from the volcanic highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

Blanco, which is described as the "ultimate pass-and-pour" spirit, features citrus notes and herbal hints of rosemary, while Reposado has a "richly balanced profile of caramelised agave, American oak and cooking spices".

Chicas Divertidas is currently available for pre-order at the brand's website, with bottles priced from $70 (£55).

And Megan can't wait for fans to try the offering, which is presented in a pink and red glass bottle.

"I know the Hotties are ready, it's time to give them a drink made by me! I'm excited to share this labour of love with you all and hope you are inspired to enter your CHICAS ERA!" the Hot Girl Summer star added.

Megan is the latest celebrity to launch a tequila brand, with the likes of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, Kendall Jenner, and Matthew McConaughey all unveiling their own luxury products in recent years.
