NewsFebruary, 25 Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande to perform at Oscars![]() Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are set to bring some musical pizzazz to the Oscars. The two Wicked stars are set to sing live during Hollywood's biggest night. Blackpink's Lisa, who is appearing as health guru Mook in this season of Mike White's Emmy-winning TV series The White Lotus, will also perform. Also taking the stage for musical entertainment will be Doja Cat, Queen Latifah and Raye. Further details of the performances have not yet been shared. In a break from tradition, this year's ceremony will not include live performances of the best original song nominees. Instead, the show will spotlight the songwriters through personal reflections and behind-the-scenes insights from the creative teams behind the music, as reported by Variety. The 97th Oscars will also feature a special appearance from the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced on Monday. Oscars organisers plan to "honour Los Angeles as a city of dreams, showcasing its beauty and resilience" in the wake of the wildfires that devastated the city in January. Hosted by Conan O'Brien, the Academy Awards will air live on March 2. Red carpet arrivals will start at 3.30pm local time at the Hollywood and Highland Centre in Los Angeles.
