NewsApril, 2 Yungblud connects with fan who claimed he saved her life![]() Yungblud had an emotional meeting with a fan who credited him with saving her life. The 27-year-old British musician, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, was in Amsterdam when he met a number of fans. While signing memorabilia and posing for photographs, the I Think I'm Okay singer was met by one fan who broke down in tears and declared, "You saved my life". The chart-topping star comforted his fan and gave her words of reassurance, saying, "No you saved your own life, I didn't save your life." He added, "Maybe the music was the soundtrack, but you saved your own life OK? I love ya. Don't be sad, be happy." He then embraced his fan in a hug - and she later shared footage from the touching moment which went viral on social media. Yungblud has previously opened up about his personal struggles - telling the Evening Standard in 2022 that he attempted suicide twice in the past. He told the publication, "I fell off stage, broke my ankle, got back up, carried on and did a whole tour in a f***ing wheelchair. I nearly lost my mum in a car accident. "I went from having £60 in my bank account to being internationally recognised across the world. I went through a very public relationship, kind of getting my heart broken, and tried to commit suicide twice. "I've been in some really dark places but being Yungblud has enabled me to find a community and realise that I'm not alone and that there's so many people going through the same struggles as me."
